How do I choose a Sacramento graphic design firm that is right for me?
Choosing a design firm can be very tricky. Every year I hear horror stories from new clients on how they got burned in the past. Here are a few things to consider.

What kind of services do you provide?
I provide everything from logo design to catalogs, data sheets, web site design and search engine optimization. Please review a complete list of the services I provide.

I don't know where to begin. Can you help me get started?
Yes! I can meet with you to review a typical timeline for completing a project. We will also look at things you'll need to think about to get the most for your money. Please make sure you can answer this list of questions before you start your project.

What is your graphic design process?

Will you give me a firm quote?
I will put together a quote based upon the information you provide. If the project details change, I will provide you with an updated quote before starting on the new work.

I have an established brand identity. Can you conform to my brand guidelines?
Yes! Many of my clients have strict branding guidelines. I will consistently and reliably match your fonts, layouts and colors.

Where is my job in the design process?
I will provide you with frequent updates so you will always know where your job stands and what is needed to help finish the project. I will also let you know how changes will affect the timeline and the final price.

How will I receive my completed job?
Print materials will be delivered to you. Typically logos will be sent to you in EPS and JPEG formats. Web sites will be posted to your server after final approval is received.

Who owns the copyright?
Full copyright is given to the client once I receive final payment.

What types of payment do you accept?
You may pay by cash and checks. For credit card payments, 3% will be added to the invoice to cover the cost of processing the credit card transaction.

How do I get a quote?

What are your payment terms?
For large jobs I typically ask for 50% up front and 50% at completion. On smaller jobs I require payment on completion. On hourly/recurring projects, net 15 after the invoice date.

How fast is your turnaround time?
I can usually turn around small projects in a couple days. Depending on the job, printing typically takes a week or two. Larger jobs, including catalogs and web sites, usually take 3-4 weeks.
